As of today, Dark Harvest has (kinda) launched! In short, the game will be released in chunks, periodically, in an update style. The game up right now only contains the first chapter of the game, which to be honest, has been done since like the beginning of last year. I have just been very eager to gauge people's thoughts on it, as it's a story I've been developing in my head for quite a while, and it wasn't until last year it took a form I was sort of okay with.

Truth be told, at first the plan was finish the game in its entirety and then upload it, but in the end, I felt this would be detrimental to the game. I feel if I upload it in chunks and by periodical updates, I will be able to gauge what needs fixing in those specific sections and touch it up as I go along, while getting public opinion on what the game needs to improve. I suppose it is just easier for me to fixate on one chapter at a time, make it as good as it can be, and send it out. And, if I need to go back and fix anything yet again, it could simply be addressed in another future update. If any of that made sense. In the long run, I simply feel this will be easier for me and the great people helping me work on it.

As previously mentioned, Chapter 1 is the only part available right now, as it has been done for about a year now. However, that isn't to say future chapters are far from completion. In fact, Chapter 2 is simply missing a few art assets, but other than that, it's almost ready to become the next update. The same goes for Chapter 3! That is why for these first few Chapter Updates, expect them to be at least bi-monthly, or within a few months from each other.  Soon enough, it'll culminate into all 5 chapters being completed.
